Cory has been diving since he was 6 years old. He loves the underwater world and sharing it with new divers. Some of his favorite dive destinations are Bonaire, Palau, Bahamas. He loves wreck diving off the coast while spearfishing. Now his two boys Liam and Aidan are now getting into it carrying on the family tradition. 

Mike has been diving since the 70's and was the previous owner of The Scuba Shop. He loves being up at the lake taking care of the boats and charters. He also is the trip guide to many of the trips the shop takes. Some of his favorite spots to dive is Galapagos, Fiji, Palau, and Bonaire.

Jean has been diving for over 20 years. She is one of our lead Instructors and has loved what the underwater world has shown her. She and her husband Richie have been on many of the shops trips all over the world. 

Richie has been diving for over 20 years. He is one of our Divemasters and boat captains. He has loved what the underwater world has shown him over the years. He and his wife Jean have been on many of the shops trips all over the world. 

Tess has been diving since she was 10 years old, being certified as a PADI Jr Open water. She loves the water and the mysteries it holds. Her favorite dive destination in the world is the Great Barrier Reef. She loves seeing sharks of all kinds, but she gets extra excited to see Tiger Sharks. She has been a PADI Divemaster since 2023 and loves getting to work with divers to develop confidence and new skills as they continue their SCUBA journey.

My first certification was in 2015 for open water and advanced for preparation to join the dive team with the sheriff’s office. I have been able to continue my advancement and specialties until reaching master diver 3 years ago and finally divemaster over two years ago. I love to guide tours and share the underwater world no matter if it’s Jocassee, the Georgia Aquarium, or Florida springs it’s always a great time to blow bubbles!

Coleman started working here as a divemaster and then him and his wife moved to Mexico where he worked as a divemaster for a while. He then relized how much he missed us and they returned a few years later. He is a great divemaster that you will see while on our local charters.
