The PADI Open Water Diver course

Since 1979 we have introduced thousands of people to the wonders of the underwater world.

Here at The Scuba Shop our students fall in love with scuba diving. We make it easy for you have to have fun and be very comfortable. Our on-site heated indoor pool allows us to teach year round and our incredible staff will help you through your adventure of becoming an Open Water Scuba Diver.

What's Not Included with Class:

• Mask, Fins, Snorkel, and boots (Ask about our student discounts packages or Rentals)

During Your Adventure You will Complete 3 types of Learning:

Knowledge Development (e-Learning), Confined Water Skill Building (pool), & Open Water Scuba Diving

During the Knowledge Development portion of your training, you will receive online material to study. PADI,s e-Learning uses adaptive teaching to help you through the material. You will have quizes throughout the process and a final exam. Plan for 5 to 7 hours of on-line study time.

To complete the Confined Water portion pick between the options below:

Option 1: Weekend Course Sat/Sun 10am -2pm

Option 2: Weeknight Course Tues/Thurs 6pm-10pm

Option 3: Weekday Course Tues/Thurs 1pm-5pm (Offered May -October)

Option 4: Private Course any day or time the pool is available with Instructor....$80/ $35 additional person
Learn to Scuba Dive: Step 2 - Open Water Dives

Becoming an Open Water Diver requires that you complete four open water dives on two separate days. To complete the open water portion pick between the options below:

Option 1: Lake Jocassee Charter (local), May- October....$130 (includes state park fee)

Option 2: Lake Keowee Charter (local), November-April....$120

Option 3: Florida Springs Trip, November - March...$350 (hotel not included)
